V. Morton Experience with Fun Dog Training

To the staff at Fun Dog Training: I just wanted to take a second to thank the staff and Fun Dog Training in West Palm Beach, especially trainer Adam along with his companion Buckeye (The German Shepard). To often we take for granted those that help us and they can be overlooked. Please accept this email as recognition to the outstanding work and professionalism that Adam and Buckeye have provided for me, our family and the most recent addition (Rooper, German Shepard). Adam and Buckeye provided training and help that was well over any expectations. With their steadfast devotion to training Rooper, my dog has made leaps and bounds in just 5 sessions. My friends all recognize the change in Rooper and I always give credit where credit is due (Fun Dog Training). I wanted to commend them on this talent and expertise and hope that this email recognizes them for that as well. This was just the first step in Rooper's training, but it was outstanding. I look forward to working with Fun Dog Training in the future. Once again THANK YOU for all you have done and will do. Respectfully, V. Morton

Testimonial.

Pharah is my first puppy. I had no clue what I was doing or what I was going to do. I found Fun Dog Training on the internet and gave them a call. Tim came out for our consultation and the following week Rachel came to work with us.

When I first got Pharah she was chewing everything, using our home as a large toilet and disobedient.  Four weeks later, I have a 13 weeks old puppy who is housebroken, walks moderately on a leash (we still have work to do), listens and responds to some commands and is a happy and fun puppy. This is what I wanted and I am rather pleased with the results.

My biggest fear was to have a monster of a min pin and now I have a cuddly, loving but territorial companion that I love and feel safe around.

Thank you Fun Dog Training, Tim and Rachel. Pharah can't wait for her first group class next week J

Dear BBB:

Business: Fun Dog Training

I'd like to report of a very positive experience with "Fun Dog Training."  While looking for a trainer for my adopted dog, I came across an ad in a local flyer for Fun Dog Training.  I filled out the online form and was soon contacted by a gentleman named Tim.  Several emails later, we agreed on a time we could meet in my home.  Tim used that opportunity to meet my dog, evaluate my goals, and explain exactly how much it would cost and payment options.  We then set up the first of five sessions with the local trainer, Racheal.

Upon our first meeting, I was impressed when Racheal showed up on time.  This habit continued for the rest of our sessions.  She either showed up on time or a little early.  She handled herself professionally as well.  At the beginning of a session she inquired how the post session training was coming, and then she explained what the goals for that particular session would be and how we were going to implement them.  During the sessions, Racheal encouraged me to raise any questions or and concerns.  I was impressed by Fun Dog Training's claim to use "pack mentality" and positive methods and Racheal's techniques were consistent with this philosophy.  I was also impressed when, at the end of each session, Racheal filled out and reviewed a progress report complete with notes and suggestions and a provision for my initials.

Included in the purchase is unlimited access to group classes offered the first Saturday morning of each month.  While I haven't attended one of these yet, I'm sure that they will live up to the same professionalism I've observed over the past five sessions.

I worked with one other trainer before contacting Fun Dog.  He was recommended by the rescue agency that I adopted my dog from.  Although he did have knowledge of training dogs, he wasn't nearly as professional, didn't offer notes, and results weren't nearly as effective or timely as with Fun Dog.

Sincerely,
Glenn Ellison

Dear Fun Dog Training:

Thank you for sending trainer Racheal Simpson to us. Our four month old Shiba inu pup, Kip, was "King" of the house upon her first visit to begin the puppy program. True to his breed, Kip was a sweet puppy one minute, dominant and defiant the next! However, from his first lesson with Racheal, we were able to make progress in overcoming Kip's determination to be the Alpha in the family! Racheal's diligence and professional techniques with a dominant puppy set the stage for a good learning experience, and Kip responded quickly to the command training that followed. I think Racheal has a wonderful teaching style. She has an excellent rapport with Kip and has been my personal puppy-raising coach! Now, as a graduate of the puppy program, Kip is a much happier member of the family. He loves practicing all that Racheal taught us! Fun Dog Training, in our opinion, was a worthwhile investment, and we look forward to the monthly tune-ups!

Sincerely, Diane and Gary Miano

Dear Fun Dog Training,

My name is Jody Mack. My dog's name is Milo. I am writing to let you know that my husband and I are very pleased with Milo's progress, thanks to Rachael. She is very good with Milo; she handles him great. We only have had 3 appointments and he is doing very well with sit and stay, controlled leash walking, and come, down and stay. There is still room for more improvement. At the beginning, I could not even get him to sit for me when I wanted him to. Since we started the training, he is doing very well. He doesn't run me down anymore when I put his food down. He sits and stays until I release him. Thank you so much and God bless Rachael; she's great.

Thank you and happy holidays from me and my family
Jody Mack

Dear Rachael,

Yesterday afternoon while on a neighborhood walk, Coco encountered a large, unleashed dog. Much to our utter amazement, she sat... just sat. No aggression, no pulling, no barking. The owner of the other dog struggled to lead him away, and while doing so, commented on how well-behaved our puppy was. We couldn't be any more proud!! We would like to thank you for all of your patience and hard work in helping Coco to find her place in our family. She is now an absolute joy to have around! We are so very grateful to you and the staff at Fun Dog Training!!

Dear Fun Dog Training:

I never thought I would be writing one of these testimonial letters. I just had to let you know how grateful and thankful I am that I signed up for your services and had Racheal as the trainer. She did such a wonderful job with what I thought was a hopeless situation.

When I first contacted your company for help, I had a Fox Terrier and a Rat Terrier. My brother was re-assigned overseas and left Isa, his Rottweiler, with me. I thought I was pet sitting but several days after her arrival I found out she was left with me. Sammy, my Fox Terrier, hated her on sight. He attacked her every chance he got. I tried to find her a home but being that she is eight years old and was not fixed at the time, no one wanted her. I even contacted Rottweiler rescue and was advised because of her age and condition, it would be hard to place her. I had separated the dogs as best I could but it was not a happy household. I got Isa fixed and started contacting dog trainers. Several told me there was nothing that could be done. Two told me to leave Sammy with them for two weeks and the problem would be corrected. Your agency is the only one that offered to come to my house plus give me a guarantee.

Racheal was assigned as our trainer. I say our trainer because I received training as well. Two times I was so discouraged by the situation I wanted to quit and she talked me into achieving a normal household. She was so good with Sammy, Isa and me. On the few times I offered resistance to her suggestions, she just worked around me to accomplish her goal.

Because of her efforts I am at the point where both dogs are able to be free in the house when I am there and there are no more attacks on Sammy's part. We have a truce going and I feel with the monthly counseling programs with Racheal. I will one day have three happy dogs. This would not be possible if not for her. Thank you and Racheal for being there when I felt I was truly in dire straits. I could not have kept Isa without Racheal.

Sincerely,

Tim Barker
Fun Dog Training

Dear Mr. Barker,

I wanted to take a few moments from your busy schedule to commend your trainer, Racheal Simpson. Before contacting Fun Dog Training for training, our puppy was having "accidents" in the house, nipping at our children and being completely unmanageable. My husband and I could not even agree on how to teach Fiona to "sit". It was then that I realized if we were to have a well-behaved family pet we would need to enlist the help of a professional. Our veterinarian, Dr. Schooley, recommended Racheal from Fun Dog Training.

From the moment Racheal walked into our home she took command of our 3-month-old Boston Terrier, Fiona. It was astounding to me how this animal responded immediately to Racheal; she not only commanded respect from Fiona but she was able to get her to follow commands on the very first visit! This was exactly what our family needed to learn to do for ourselves. In the five lessons, Racheal was able to teach us how to train Fiona to sit, stay, down, come, heel, control exit/entry as well as housetrain her. It was a remarkable turnaround in how the entire family interacted with this puppy. Now we all had a path with clear direction on how to handle and train Fiona. Besides teaching us "the basics" Racheal was always available by phone to answer any questions that came up in between our sessions. I must say she always had an answer to any concerns I could come up with regarding Fiona.

Racheal is professional, prompt, courteous, and a very knowledgeable and skilled dog trainer. She is certainly as asset to Fun Dog Training. Thank you for having such a talented person on your staff--she has truly changed the way we interact with our dog!

Sincerely,
Pamila-Faye Rodriguez

Mr. Tim Barker
Office Manager Fun Dog Training

Dear Tim:

We are extremely pleased with the wonderful work Rachael and Fun Dog Training has accomplished with our Cocker Spaniel, Venus. Rachael's hard work has transformed the lives of our family. She helped us to identify some key potential areas of improvement with Venus.

We loved our customized in-home training so that Venus is learning in her own environment. This has been a huge advantage and was a deciding factor with our selection of a training company.

Rachael has always been extremely helpful with creative and easy ideas on how to correct Venus' behavior. She is a truly caring professional who communicates in an optimistic manner. Rachael produces excellent results from even the most hopeless situations.

Thank you to Rachael and Fun Dog Training for making a tremendous positive difference in our family's daily lives.

Sincerely,
The Umana Family

Cliff,

Cliff has outstanding qualities as a trainer of dogs (and people). He immediately developed a strong rapport with us and our two dogs, Lexi and Laci. While Lexi was able to be quickly trained by Cliff, Laci had some difficult behavioral issues. When certain techniques didn't work with Laci, he quickly changed tactics and patiently worked with her/us until we found a good training solution that we were all comfortable with.

Cliff obviously has a great affinity for dogs and has a "calm, assertive" manner about him that I found lacking in other trainers. He was never rough or overbearing, but instead, he quietly and gently led us through the training process with impressive results. We look forward to our sessions with Cliff--he's always very punctual and professional and has an easy-going manner. I am very impressed with his poise, courtesy and abilities and feel that he is a great asset to Fun Dog Training. I would recommend him highly to anyone looking for dog training expertise.

Sincerely,

Dear Cliff and Tim:

Thank you so much for helping me with my two labrador retrievers, Rocco and Zues. I have three children and my husband who owns his own business, which made it basically impossible to properly train my dogs. I spent more time cleaning my house and walking my dogs than I did being a mother to my 7 year-old daughter and 3-year old son. I had many problems with Rocco, but not so much with Zues. I don't know if you guys remember them or not; they are two chocolate labs; one is twenty pounds heavier than the other. Zues is the smaller one that followed Rocco around everywhere he goes and copies everything he does. Rocco would chew on everything and would not tell me when he needed to go outside to use the bathroom. Now he has no reason to chew up my stuff and he barks to let me know when he needs to go out. I was taking him out way too much, which was causing me to miss time with my family. Not only did you train my dogs, but you totally changed the way that I communicate and relate to them. I have such a better understanding of how they think and relate to people. I no longer look at them as a hassle an annoying responsibility. This has made me love them even more and now I would never think of ever giving them away. Thank you very much; I would always tell people to call you guys for training and cannot say enough about your kindness and excellent services.

Sincerely,
Denise Mills

To whom it may concern,

We are writing you this letter on behalf of Rachael, our trainer for our dog "Rusty". We were very impressed with her determination to train our sweet but stubborn Golden Retriever. She proved to us that his bad behaviors could be corrected and that he could learn relatively easily. She was patient with all our family members and made an extra effort to help all of us. We are writing you this letter in appreciation of her desire to help us, her punctuality with every appointment, her thoroughness when explaining our goals with Rusty, and her pleasant personality when she evaluated the dog and our progress with him. Please let her know that our life has benefitted from this experience and we feel we made a friend along the way. Rusty will never forget her; that we know!

Fun Dog Training worked wonders for our dog Colby.  We were unable to walk him on a leash because he would just go nuts!  We cannot say enough about Rachel our trainer.  In 4 sessions she got Colby to walk, sit, heel and obey me.  The dog didn't have any confidence before and was always scared.  Now he looks forward to our daily walks and does so with confidence.  Thanks a bunch Rachel.  It truly is making a huge difference in our lives and in Colby's life.

Sincerely,

Nancy & Robert Dultz
